Takahiro started playing keyboard instruments at the age of 4, and became interested in jazz at the age of 14. He then studied composition, arrangement and orchestration with Atsuro Kono, jazz piano with Katsuya Tamura, and classical piano with Yukiko Miyazaki.
While attending university, he began performing professionally at jazz spots. In terms of performances, he has participated as a keyboardist in Inori Minase, Sara Olein, and Fujisawa's music reading drama. He is especially skilled at fusing his own jazz sound with various genres, including incorporating orchestral, band sounds, and dance music.
