Born in 1957 / From Tokyo
Shiro is a composer, arranger, and music producer who has been active on the front lines for 43 years since participating in T-Square's debut in 1978. He has been working with Hideaki Anno for over 30 years creating all the Evangelion series together. Shiro has many enthusiastic fans around the world!
Successor to his father Souji Ushio (1921-2004), he became CEO of P Production, a special effects animation production company.
In recent years, he has also worked on the "Kimigayo" opening ceremony for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
