Born in 1977 / From Saitama Prefecture

Due to the influence of Yugo's music freak father, he grew up listening to jazz and classical music from an early age. He began learning the piano at the age of 4, became obsessed with soccer, and spent an impressionable childhood playing percussion instruments in the wind band in junior high school.
After entering high school, he began taking composition lessons and began aiming to attend a music university.

In 1997, Yugo entered the Department of Composition at Tokyo College of Music. While still in school, he began providing music to artists, and after graduating, he created sound logos for commercials that are still used today such as "Morinaga", "Shin Biofermin S", and "HOYU".

In 2004, he made his debut at the age of 27 in a Fuji TV's monthly drama called "Last Christmas".
Since then, he has been active in a wide range of music production including movies, TV dramas, anime, and documentaries.
