In 1977, Ryo moved to Tokyo to continue his studies. He began his professional career while still in college.

From 1984 to 1992, he was a keyboard player in the band, 'Revolver'. After that, he worked as a backing band for numerous artists, and then began composing soundtracks for TV dramas.
Her major works include the NHK Taiga drama "Atsuhime", "EMERGENCY ROOM 24 HOURS (4th Series)", "Garden of the Wind", "Dr. Coto's Clinic", NHK's asadora "Kokoro," and the film "Between Calmness and Passion."
