Keiichi Okabe
Born 1969 / from Hyogo Prefecture
Representative director of MONACA Inc. Enrolling in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Kobe Design University sparked his fascination with adding sound to film and CG animation, and in 1994 he joined Namco (now Bandai Namco Studios) as a sound creator. After leaving Namco, he worked as a freelancer before founding MONACA Inc. in 2004 and launching the music production collective MONACA. He primarily produces sound for games and visual media, and has been involved in the music for the NieR game series since NieR Replicant / Gestalt, released in April 2010.
